Former Senior Superintendent of Police Bashir Hussain Rafeqi of Bhaderwah passed away today evening after brief illness .He was 74 .He was the son of renowned social worker Peer Najam Din . He is survived by his wife , one daughter and two sons . Bashir Ahmed Rafeqi is the elder brother of Mohd Shafi Rafeqi and Shaqir Ahmed Rafeqi.Nimaz Jenaza of Rafeqi will be performed at Gujjar nagar grave yard tomorrow after zohar Nimaz . Many social , political , religious and traders leaders of Chenab valley and Bhaderwah has condoled the demise of Rafeqi and said they had a long association with Rafeqi who served in the state with distinction and was known for his integrity and hard work.
They extended his condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
